Dr Trevor Gerntholtz
Dr Gerntholtz completed his post graduate training in Cape Town from 1992 until 2000. He then left for the UK where he worked in the Oxford Kidney Unit up until 2002. Following this he returned to South Africa and worked as a consultant in Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital up until 2005. In 2005 he started working in Life Fourways Hospital as both a general physician and a Nephrologist. In spite of just over ten years of practice up in Gauteng, Dr Gerntholtz and his family have always wanted to return to the fair Cape and were very pleased when an opportunity presented itself at the Rondebosch Medical Centre. He has taken up residence in the brand new Rondebosch Dialysis Centre and to offer all Nephrology services to patients.
